Hypertext coverage: Bridgement – local fintech firm creates plugin to make SMEs Covid-19 compliant

New government regulations issued in terms of the Disaster Management Act, require all South African website owners to provide a link to the Department of Health’s Covid-19 portal on their landing page. There are over 1.3-million domains registered in the .za namespace. Those domains are used to power hundreds of thousands of active websites, many of them owned by small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Working with WordPress, client Bridgement is helping SMEs comply with the new website rules.
