Saint Patrick’s Day at The Galileo

“An Irish method for tackling problems: There comes a time when you must take the bull
by the tail and face the situation squarely.” Make a toast to Saint Patrick at The Galileo Open Air Cinema on 17 March; to celebrate the patron saint’s day, the open-air cinema will be screening Snatch, a crime comedy film written and directed by Guy Ritchie and featuring Irish Traveller, Mickey O’Neill, played by Brad Pitt – swoon!

Taking place at Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville, doors open at 6pm sharp and the movie starts as soon as it is dark. Arrive early to take advantage of the market vibe and delicious, mouth-watering artisanal food, wine and bar drinks, all of which are on sale before the show. Reserve your spot on the lawn with a comfy backrest and a warm blanket, both of which can be hired.

Visit The Galileo website to book your ticket for an evening of fun, friends, good food and Guinness beer. “May the leprechauns be near you, to spread luck along your way, and may all the Irish angels, smile upon you Saint Patrick’s Day.”

Ticket prices:

Standard: R70
