Ridiculously romantic Valentine’s

Experience an unforgettable evening under the stars with your special someone at The Galileo Open Air Cinema – the perfect setting for a ridiculously romantic date.

The Galileo has pulled out all the stops to ensure Cupid hits the magic spot this Valentine’s Day. Taking place on 14 February at Groot Constantia Wine Estate, spoil your loved one and treat them to a secret movie experience, or book your couple seat at the V&A Waterfront, where you can cosy up and watch The Vow. Directed by Michael Sucsy and starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, The Vow, which is inspired by a true story, is the seventh highest-grossing romantic drama film of all time.

Cuddle up under the starry skies for an evening of loved up bliss. Doors open at 6pm sharp and the movie starts as soon as it is dark. Arrive early to take advantage of the market vibe before the show and reserve your love spot on the lawn with a comfy backrest and a warm blanket, both of which are available for hire. Delicious, mouth-watering artisanal food, wine and bar drinks will all be on sale.

Ticket prices:

Standard: R70

Warm: R79 (plus blanket)

Comfy: R88 (plus backrest)

Warm & comfy R95 (plus blanket and backrest)
