Be-cause Integrated Communications is hiring! We are looking for an individual who is passionate about communications and bringing brand stories to life through public relations and digital strategy. Based in Observatory, Cape Town, we are a niche agency that works with multi-nationals, brands and NGOs to generate awareness around sustainability, education, fintech, and healthcare to name a few key areas. The successful candidate should be driven by effectiveness, have an eye for detail and help ensure that our agency remains at the forefront of the macro environment in which our clients operate.

Position: Junior content manager

Job description:

To start from July (or as soon as available)

Client service:

  • Acquiring knowledge of client’s business and insights into the industry they operate in and assist in anticipating needs, solutions and opportunities to tap into
  • Assist with:
    • Building and sustaining strategic communications plans and opportunities for clients
    • Onboarding and building relationships with new clients
    • Coordinating, planning and execution of activities for clients
  • Compiling status, action and monthly reports
  • Ensuring monthly deliverables are met

Traditional media:

  • Copywriting – press releases, advertorial, media statements and reports
  • Securing coverage and interview opportunities

Digital comms:

  • Developing monthly content schedules for a broad range of clients
  • Managing social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
  • Planning and implementing effective paid social campaigns, inclusive of managing client budgets
